SFLSA is hosting a graduate school seminar on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 11:00 am in B132 of the JFSB. We will have some information about graduate programs that students in the School of Family Life typically apply to and how to apply. Come learn more about your options!

The Stepfamily Experience Project (STEP) is a BYU study aimed at gathering meaningful information from
individuals who grew up in stepfamilies in order to better include their voice in social, political, clinical, and academic conversations.
If you have lived or currently live in a stepfamily, you are invited to take the online STEP survey.
Individuals who complete it will be eligible for one of five

Enchanted Evening with SFLSA!
Join us this Friday, Feb. 8th at 7:00pm in the Varsity Theatre for an Enchanted Evening!
Events include:
1) Lecture by Dr. Jason Carroll, "Knot Yet: Recent Trends in Dating and Marriage at BYU and in the Broader U.S."
2) Raffles! Prizes include MOA Cafe Meals, gift certificates to Black Sheep Cafe, Bowling Tickets, and much more!
3) We will also be showing the movie "Enchanted!"
Bring your spouse, significant other, friends, friends who are more than friends, your crush, or come alone and meet some enchanting others! Everyone is invited to this Enchanted Evening!

The Strengthening the Family Conference
Engaging Issues with Courage and Civility invites undergraduate and graduate students to submit papers to this year's conference
Papers done in conjunction SFL classes on the topic of issues related to marriage and family are eligible for submission and to receive cash prizes.
The submission date is December 15th
