ABOUT US

Purpose and Goals:
"Let him that would move the world first move himself"
-Socrates

As the School of Family Life Student Association (SLFSA), we recognize that to transform the world, we must first change ourselves. Therefore, our mission is to unite our student body, research and reveal professional opportunities, and facilitate new and empowering connections while assisting students in securing their future in an effort to change the world one person at a time.

We hope to accomplish this mission by:
-Fostering one-on-one involvement with professors
-Increase awareness of diverse research opportunities
-Educating students of job opportunities available with a SFL degree
-Improving student knowledge of academic internships and professional opportunities
-Uniting students and facilitating collaboration in a fun and educating setting
